MASTERCHEF AT CLAIRAULT WINERY MARGARET RIVER!

Clairault Winery & Restaurant was featured on Channel Ten’s top ratings show, MasterChef Australia! The episode which went to air on Monday 30th May was the second of three episodes filmed in Western Australia. The first episode was filmed at the Sunrise Gold Mine, near Laverton, where the contestants cooked for 450 mine workers. The third episode features the iconic Busselton Jetty and neighbouring Cape Lodge’s Head Chef, Tony Howell.

Clairault’s uncompromising dedication to quality, sustainability and sourcing local produce all contributed to the winery being selected for this unique opportunity. General Manager, Conor Martin said, “Just as our busy wine grape harvest was starting, on a hot February day, the MasterChef contestants and crew arrived to start filming at 6am and didn’t leave until after 6pm. An already hectic time of year became doubly so, although we managed to accommodate the crew without compromising the harvest schedule, notwithstanding, the exposure for Clairault and the region will be invaluable”.

Much deserved acknowledgements must go to Tourism Western Australia and Australia’s South West in luring the MasterChef production company, Fremantle Media, to Western Australia.
